Gold plated needles

This page is for anyone who likes using a gold needle but particularly for ALLERGY SUFFERS

A lot of people can be allergic to the Nickel that needles are made of. This can bring you out in a rash.

If needles are coated with Gold Plate the hands are then not in direct contact with the nickel.

Obviously this makes each needle a little more expensive. A lot of people even without allergies love using gold plated needles as they run so smoothly through the fabric.

Most needles that are gold plated only come in sizes suitable for tapestry and cross stitch work.

We have now sourced some gold plated quilting / betweens and sharps that are suitable for everyday stitching jobs.

If they prove popular we may get a selection of other sizes.

These individual wrapped ones are:

• BETWEENS - sized 6 and ideal for quilting and for intricate fine work.
  
• SHARPS - sized 2 and are good for a general sewing needle.

Sharps GOLD PLATED -
sold in 2's

FOR everyday use. They have round eye and sharp point and are a medium length. Larger image shows close up of eye.
